Message Disk is a new DVD that shares the knowledge and
experience of Indigenous dugong and marine turtle managers from
eight regions across northern Australia. Developed by NAILSMA, its
project partners and participating communities, the DVD aims to
help a wide range of stakeholders in learning and appreciating the
importance of working together in looking after dugong and
turtles.
The stories presented on the DVD are both entertaining and
informative and provide valuable insights to both Indigenous and
non-Indigenous Australians interested in the sustainable management
of dugong and marine turtle.
