Kantri Laif

Kantri Laif is a newspaper that communicates and promotes the aspirations, research activities and results of Indigenous land and sea management initiatives across northern Australia.

Stories come from Indigenous people reporting on land and sea management activities on their own country across Western Australia, the Northern Territory, Queensland and the Torres Strait.

Kantri Laif is published once a year, is free of charge. Copies are sent all over northern Australia including Cairns, Broome, Darwin, Torres Strait and remote areas in between. Contact us if you'd like to receive a copy.

You can also read Kantri Laif right here: go to the navigation bar at left to read issues on screen—or you can download PDFs of the entire newsletter, at right.

If you have any stories about working on country and you want to tell others in northern Australia talk to Samara Erlandson, contact details below.
