Building networks with Indigenous people outside of Australia: Coastal Guardian Watchmen Network 2011

The Coastal Guardian Watchmen Network from British Columbia’s North and Central Coast and Haida Gwaii were special guests at the NAILSMA I-Tracker Monitoring and Research Forum held at Mary River NT in August 2011.  Richard Brown talks about his experience being a part of the Saltwater People Network.

 “This trip was an awesome experience and something that will stay with me for a life time. The part that sticks out to me from our trip is how advanced this group of Australian Rangers are with the technology they use and the partnerships they have with other agencies.”
