NAILSMA aims to increase communication across northern Australia
and develop broad strategic direction driven from the ground up.
Our annual forum means Indigenous people from the region can come
together and exchange ideas and foster shared linkages that support
the notion of people remaining, returning and re-occupying their
country with the skills, knowledge and information they require.
Traditional Owners conduct and lead the forums on country. The
location of each forum rotates from year to year as does the focus.
Read about our first two forums at left. This year's forum is being
held in September 2006.
