Max spent her first 10 years in cold Melbourne and decided that
whilst the food was perfect, she must head to warmer places.
Gradually Max made her way up to Darwin arriving 8 years ago, and
has no desire to leave. Being an avid storm watcher and B.O.M
addict keeps her busy, along with painting, photography, and
eating!
Max has a Bachelor of Visual Arts, and a certificate from a
scholarship at Adelaide Central School of Art, and is now
undertaking a degree in Psychology.
With a 'keen interest in the natural world but sadly lacking the
scientific brain' to really work in it, Max has cherished the happy
solution of working for organisations that are interesting, and are
doing work that she believes in; caring about country and people!
And what's best is that at NAILSMA she gets to be creative too!
Max is now the NAILSMA Carbon Project Communications Officer,
and the producer of NAILSMA's magazine 'Kantri Laif'.
