the Territory after escaping the cold, windy beaches of
Victoria. She moved to Melbourne for a few years to
work for an environmental lobby group, but was drawn back to
the exotic tropical heat of Darwin to study. Anna
recently returned from travelling in Europe for six months
after living and working in the remote desert community of
Laramba for 18 months. In her spare time she is a
singer-songwriter and guitarist.
Professional
Anna holds
a Masters of Tropical Environment Management, obtained in Darwin
and a Bachelor of Arts (Eco-communication) obtained in Warrnambool,
Victoria. Prior to moving to the Territory, Anna worked for
Environment Victoria, coordinating environmental groups across
the state. She has since worked with various
environmental agencies in Darwin as a communications
consultant and research assistant, studying the potential impacts
of climate change upon Kakadu National Park. She has also
worked for the tourism industry in both the Top End and
Central Australia.
